Binding

2003 jeep liberty 3.7 manual transmission.when turning it sounds and feels like its binding.been doing this for awhile.on the 2nd clutch as of today.wife got towed home.Sucks

When I drive straight it's fine.has anyone have any ideas

Either a diff issue or awd issue at case if so equipped

1995 Jeep gc ltd, 2005 Jeep gc ltd , 71 Dart, 73 RR 440-6pk, 78 Mag GT, 85 Power Ram W-350, 92 Daytona, 99 Dakota, 08 Ram 2500

When you push in the clutch it's quiet.clutch engaged has a noise also.

Then you may have a pressure plate or t-out bearing , but when turning that would have no effect on binding .

Yeah the clutch is screwed 2nd time within 1 year.but it has this cross plate under it that seems to support the tranny of which 3 of like 4 bolts that hold this plate are not tightened all the way.I tried to free them then tighten but I couldn't get them to budge.Could that be causing the binding maybe?

Im not sure which bolts you're talking about, if you can get a pic
