axle stuck in 4wd

my locking device in my axle slides over too far then binds a little bit causing it to sick in 4wd has anyone else had this problem? i was just thinking of making a stop for it.

If your talking about front axle disconnect just lock it in all the time. That way it wont not ingage due to vacuum line troubles.
