ax-5 trans crunching

hey,

i just bought a 1995 4cyl manual wrangler last week.
the transmission crunches sometimes when i shift. my brother said it could just be synchros or i might need a new trans. he said i could find a cheap one and he could put it in for me.

does anyone have any advice, or ax-5 transmissions for sale?

Exactly what do you mean "crunches when i shift?" Different crunches mean different problems.
