Avg cost to rebuld rear axle
Has anyone recently had their rear axle rebuilt. I'm wondering what a fair price would be to rebuild the rear axle on my 1998 limited 5.9L. The dealership that just replaced all the drive train fluids ball parked around $1600.00 to rebuild and around $750 to replace with a junk yard model.

I just rebuilt the Dana 35 in my Comanche this weekend , $260 in parts , it took all day . Thats for all the bearings and seals.
