Avenger Supercharger install.

I've got all the parts to start my Avenger install this weekend. Some of the parts I've installed already like the intercooler radiater, water pump, oil return line and hoses. This weekend I'll try to get the whole job done. The main jobs are the blower itself, engine management system and 36 lb.injector/timing programming. If anyone has any helpful hints or questions post em up. It can't be any more difficult than regearing I hope.

I don't have any tips, but I DO wanna know how it went for you and what other motor mods you have done to your Jeep. Other info, what axles are you running (I assume 30 spline axles with your D44), , are you still on your OEM clutch? I was looking at the Avenger (quite seriously for awhile, but now I've pretty much decided on the Kenne Belle SC setup), but I have concerns about my OEM axles and clutch holding up under another 100HP.

Plus I'd look forward to hearing about your tuning and daily driving with the SC.

stock D44 axles for now. The power will be used wisely till I can upgrade. Currently no other engine mods (internal). I purchased a Split second 2.5 bar laptop controlled engine management system for tuning.
I got the 36 lb. injectors installed last night and the IAT sensor relocated, this morning I'll plug the manifold holes pull the PS pump and mount the blower assembly.I'm not going to install the Split Sec system till last step. Hopefully by afternoon5-6 pm It'll be ready to idle on the stock computer. Sunday will be devoted to installing and tuning the piggy back computer.

Nice man... my buddies got an advenger supercharger and it kicks ***. Hes got stock axles and everything and has no problems. you will be Happy!!

Got the blower mounted, brackets on, plumbing for oil is done and I'm getting ready to mount the throttle body and fill the Intercooler system. Between soccer and CWS I'm running behind schedule. Hot as hell out today too.

All the engine components stay in the same location except the throttle body. I'll start taking some pics. Sorry for slacking.

here's a few pics of the fit. I still have some details to take care of like vacuum lines,vent lines, and cooler hoses to secure. The hood closes fine even with the 1" mm lift.

How well is throttle response suppose to be at low speeds? I think you just changed my mind on a V-8 swap.

Been busy killing fish but I'm back on track now with updates to come. I've got a slight blower pully rub on the hood at full throttle, so an adjustment is necessary. I think I might just get a smaller pully .
Another minor issue I had was that the serpantine belt tensioner would pull up and rub against the belt at full throttle. To fix it I just drilled and tapped the stop on the tensioner body and installed an adjustment bolt. Now the belt has a 1/8 of clearance at full stop. Today I'll be working on the Jeep most of the day.

Ebay $2000 complete. It's practically brand new. I have the large pully on now and it's putting out 3.5 PSI of boost. Avenger says I can adjust it all the way to 11 PSI. I have my laptop management system wired in now and running so I'll order a couple more pulleys wednesday. I'd like to run 8 PSI for around an estimated 320 HP.
Right now it runs a little rich on the bottom end but I can lean it out with the laptop (with a little help from Splitsec.com). I don't want to start tuning till I have tech support. 3.5 PSI of boost doesn't even give any knock at WOT with 85 octane fuel.
