aussie install question 97 tj

Im currently regearing and adding a true trac in the rear and an aussie up front. The d35 was easy to get the spider gears out since it has a bolt to hold the center pin in. On d30 there isn't any bolt; I didnt want to go beating on the pin. How do you remove the pin to get the spder gears out? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've had my jeep in the garage way to long and my Old Man keeps b****in about it.

Its a roll pin and you have to pound it through with a punch.

There is a hole on the other side of the carrier.

depending on what gears you have you'll have to pull the carrier and take the ring gear off. i have 4.10's and just did an install tuesday and i had to pull the ring to get the pin out
