Another D35 thread

Ok i need some opinions. Trying to find a rubicon axle is really hard and probably gonna run about $1500. Buying a new D44 with a OX or ARB is gonna be about $2300. So if i put in some alloy shafts (about $300), an OX that would replace the weak spiders in the carrier(about$800) and a new ring and pinion ($200) what does that leave as weak points in the D35? The axle tubes? Sure i'd like to go the D44 route but convincing the wife i need to drop another $2500 on the jeep is not gonna be easy when maybe i can pick up axles and gears at one time and the locker at another.

Go the Super 35 route which provides 30 spline axleshafts vs. the OE 27 spline axleshafts, they are a LOT stronger. You have your choice of lockers with the Super 35 kit from Superior Axle... Detroit Locker, ARB Air Locker, or the Ox Locker you mentioned.

Unless you're talking about piecing that together if you can now buy 30 spline Super 35 lockers separately, which did not used to be the case.
