amc 20 axle shaft

Greetings...
I own a 81 cj5 that is being fix from scratch. Working on puttin 5.7 engine in with 350 tranny...now I know that amc 20 axle are tough but need to reinforce axle and change to one piece axle shafts. There is a guy selling it for $100 but does not know if its from a narrow or wide track axle...I have been researching and found that mine is a narrrow axle which are the most common ones...now, does anyone know the measurments of the shafts I found out that one is shorter than the other one.....thank you!!

best bet replace your narrow track Amc 20 with a narrow track Dana 44 from a 72-75 CJ.
