99 Jeep Cherokee axle identification

Hello all, I went to a 32 inch mud tire from a 225 road tire and I don't like the way the jeep pulls now. Feels like it lost a lot of the low end acceleration, no doubt due to the larger tire size. Anyway, gonna get some gears for it and was wondering how I find out what axles I have under it. Is there any easy way to tell (like Chev. 14 bolt corp.)?
Also, what would you guys recommend for gears, I'm assuming it has 355s in it now but not sure. Thanks.

There is a tag in the axle showing gear ratio... Will be stamped on the diff the kind of axle. Most likely Dana 35 or 44 rear 30 front

Being a '99 XJ you have a HP30 front and 8.25 rear.

Ok cool. The HP30, is that a common axle? I mean are upgrades commonly avail for it?
