98 zj 4.0 stock clutch fan to 5.9 help

so after days of searching for any build logs and or write ups i cant seem to find any information on actually performing the conversion to put a 5.9 electric fan setup, and what tools, parts, and modification are needed to actual do this properly. i have a 98 zj 4.0 and i have alot of issues overheating in summer time, i recently replaced my radiator with the silla all aluminum rad and the overheating got worse. any help in pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

If you're over heating now, you have another issue. An electric fan isn't going to help. I'd do a flush, throw in a new thermostat and a water pump and see what happens.

it was fine before i changed the radiator i know the silla is to blame i was hoping that the conversion would help. i was planning on doing that anyway. but the true solution to my problem is buying a better radiator.. i was hoping the silla would work but it just gets hot now.. i was looking for the best cheapest fix since my rad had a pin hole in it.. funny thing is from shipping the silla's brazing cracked and i had to replace it a year from installing it

Yea sounds like you need a radiator. There's plenty of reasons to run an electric fan (I run one) but overheating is not one of them. The clutch fan moves as much air as an electric fan if not more.
