97 ZJ 5.2 front drive shaft replacement

So as you guessed i have a 1997 Grand cherokee with the 5.2.

I was wondering if anyone has ny experience replacing these, i have a new one coming in the mail and will be replacing it.

I Know you remove the 4 bolts at the transfer case but but is that it?

Any knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for the help guys!

4 bolts at the T-case and 4 bolts at the front Yoke flange. sometimes the flanges stick together a bit, so a small hammer helps to jar them loose. 8 bolts, should take 15 minutes to swap out.

Thanks for the response, i forgot to mention its a CV joint(the one with the rubber dust boot) which has the 4 bolts at the TC and 6 bolts in a circle at the other end.
