97 Tj stuck in fwd

New to this forum, maybe a newb question but i was driving in four wheel drive and no it wont come out the shifter feels like i cant be pushed father, it goes into 4low and hi but wont go into 2hi, i have a lift on and didnt know if it messes with linkage or what but this was the first time using it in a while and boom its stuck had to jack up the front end for it to come out into 2hi. any answers with whats wrong??????

You need to get underneath jeep. See if linkage binding. Shift it at TC to make sure not an internal problem.
