???94 ZJ 46RH Trans Problem???

My 46RH trans will not go into gear, engage, or do anything. This was sudden. It started to slip while driving, it like someone was grabbing the brakes and all of a sudden the rpm shot up and it was no longer engaged and would not go anywhere. Have no idea what it could be. I have info on my jeep in my profile pls check it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Start with the basic is it low on ATF? How is the fluid, bright red or burnt? Is transfercase in proper gear and have you tried manually shifting thru the gears. How's reverse? If ATF is full then most likely it's time for a rebuild.

Thanks for the reply man. First, I checked the fluid and its not low. Its also not bright red but its not really dark either, nor chunky. I cant get anything in 4-low or 4-hi. There is no reverse, D, 2, 1. Nothing. Cant get it to engage at all. When I was driving it, it started to act up like someone was grabbing the brakes and lettin off, and then it just went.
