I took in my jeep to the shop (tires plus car care) since my clutch was not working so I had to get it towed there, and for everything they are charging me over 1600 dollars!!! Are they ripping me off or is that a reasonable price? They said they had to take out the transmission to get to it and replace the cluth and something else forgot what it was thanks any advice is appreciated

That sounds about right actaully. They may have to replace the grow out bearing or something like that.
