91 Cherokee please help

I have a 91 jeep Cherokee and the rear end is shot. I need a Dana 35 3.07, I found a 94 wrangler rear axle Dana 35 3.07. Is this compatible? Also it needs new gears, which would you recommend?

If it needs new gears it probably isnt worth buying. Around here at the junk yards xjs are everywhere. You should be able to find a d35 that will be an exact fit for yours. Or you could find an 8.25 rear out of an xj with the same gears. They are a little stronger than a d35. I just took a d35 to the scrap yard this week because I couldnt sell it or give it away.

And no one said the obvious yet....
One is SOA, one is SUA.
Just upgrade the turd before you waste more money on it. I can guarantee you could have a 8.8 under the rig for less coin that you will have in welding new perches etc and regearing that turdy5. Only difference is, one will break again, the other wont
