81 CJ7 it runs but with problems

i have my cj7 running great and in 4wheel drive it can run/clime over anything BUT when i am driving down the road and hit the magic number of 30-40 (3rd gear) it starts losing power and acts like its going to die and jerking really rough. when you take you foot off the gas and get under 30 it runs great again.

yes i have replaced the carburetor, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap. and alternator.

does anyone have any ideas or thoughts on this matter?

Thanks
