5.0 swap

I am swapping a 5.0 into a 63 gladiator and i need a bit of info. It has the original 230 in it with the original trans. The 5.0 E.F.I. is coming from an 93 f150 and i am taking the trans in the swap too. What all will i have to do to get the swap done correctly the first time.

Small block Chevy is probably the easiest.

Look into a junk yard gm 5.3. They have same bell housing bolt pattern as the gen 1 small block Chevy so all the parts from the engine back is the same as a sbc swap, Jimsperformance.com will do all the wiring and computer work for $500, and 5.3s go for $4-800 fully dressed. Tuned they make about 350hp bone stock.

I'm sure there is someone like Jim for ford engines, I just don't know who that is, also never looked into whether anyone makes the adapters to put a sbf in your rig.

Hey guys. Where in here does it say anything about swaping in a chevy motor?

Go slow go far go fast never last.
