4 runner rebuild ..need jeep help..

"Had" a 95 4runner 3.0 / V6 2 wheel drive.

I blew the bell housing off my motor and damaged my tranny. I was given a sm465 4 speed and a NP 205. Looks like im gonna build a jeep under my 4 runner body. It has a driver side drop. What axle should fit (somewhat) under my 96 4runner? What would be my best bet for a motor. Was thinking a 350..open to ALL suggestions. NEwB to off road building. Always had jeeps. First was an 85 scrambler i had shipped to my base in panama.

Full size Cherokee from the 80s is about 60 inches wide driver drop and 6 lug.
