I am looking at picking up a 1997 4.0L from a 97 Cherokee Sport. It will include the entire engine, wiring and ECU.

I am currently chasing down a 12CW crank from an early 258 to use with this.

I spoke with Alabama Cylinder Head this afternoon and they will have 0331 replacement heads in early next week.

Will the injection system from the 97 4.0L injection system work with the newer Octopus Intake and Throttle Body? Locations of components don't worry me much as harness will need to be thinned and changed anyways. I just want to make sure that the older EFI will work with the newer manifold and Throttle Body.

Any other comments would be appreciated as I am still in the gathering mode of parts at this point.
