4.2l RMS

So if I can't beat the damn top half of the RMS out, what is next step? Remove t-case and trans, and go after it from behind? Or drop crank too? I feel like driving this POS off a cliff. In case you were curious, this seal has been in the engine since conception...164k miles ago.
