4.2 block w/ 4.0 head and aw4 swap in 94 wrangler

Ok so this is the start of a build thread that is going to get very intense over the next 6 months but here is where I am starting at. I have a 1989 4.2 block that I am mating to a 1994 4.0 head, and then I am attaching a 1998 AW4 tranny from a cherokee to all that. I know it is going to be a total mongrel but, I like to be different. Plan on lots of pics and lots of detail. I am going to share everything. I just picked up the tranny (w/60,000 miles on it), intake, exhaust header, all the accesories for $350. Total steal. Oh and the transfer case came with it too. Total score! All of this is going in place of the current 2.5 liter/AX-5 combo that is in it now. In addition to this I also have a full width Ford 9" and hp Dana 44 from a 1979 Ford F-150 super cab that I will be grafting in too.

That sounds odd that it wouldn't fit. What didn't fit?

Torque converter does not match flywheel. flywheel has 10" centers on holes and converter has 9.5" centers. Also took fly wheel off and does not look like starter will line up with the way it bolts up on aw4 housing. checked all this last night after buying aw4. Now I'm back to looking for another tf999 or doing full driveline swap to a jk motor sitting in my buddy's garage.

Oh ok I got ya now. From what I have figured out you need the flywheel that matches the transmission in order for the swap to work. I got all that when I bought mine. The only thinkg I need to aquire is the TCM and plug ends so I ccan wire the tranny.
