4.0 and 727

Curious if a TF727 (currently bolted to an AMC 360) will bolt to a newer 4.0 I6?
If it will, can I use the existing bellhousing, or will I need to use the 4.0's bellhousing?

No V8 trans will meet up to the 4.0 Trans.

Wrong. AMC V8 has the same bellhousing as the 4.0.


And just FYI auto bellhousings are part of the transmission case
