4.0/4.2 block compatability

I know I should search more but im on my phone and couldn't come up with anything.

I have a guy that wants to buy my 88 4.2 and use the block in his 93 (?) Cherokee. The mounting points for the engine brackets broke off of his. He is trying to get it all together quickly before a local race. Is it doable? I know there are minor differences like the fuel pump but what else? He will be using his stock AX15 as well. I figured it was a stretch but I told him id try to figure it out.

Not without a TON of work.

Have him check out Brown Dog motor mounts. They have a fix for this.

They should work for the guy that wants to buy my motor.

I had Brown Dog mounts when I had my 4.2. Good product!
