360 valve seals

so im in the process of freshening up a 360 out of an 85 grand wagoneer for my 83 cj7. iv scoured the internet and tried searching for the answer here but i cant find anything. the gasket kit i ordered came with new umbrella seals for the valves but theres two kinds, one set of hard plastic ones that look the same as the ones i pulled out, and a set of soft black rubber ones. i dont know which ones to use, any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance

Jeeps and girls are alot alike, both get mad when you call them the "c word", both like to be rode hard, both of them are hard to control... Hell, the only difference between them is you can only fix one with a hammer.
