360 overview

My 360 is now installed and running perfectly! Here are a few shots of the process.

Engine teardown - the 360 came out of a 1986 Grand Wagoneer and had a burned piston.

I made the decision to totally rebuild it myself with the machine work being done by a reputable local shop.
The engine bores cleaned up at .030" over and the crank went .010/.010".

Here is a shot of all the parts - you can see that everything is quality stuff - Hastings rings, Fel-Pro gaskets, Silvolite pistons, ARP rod bolts, etc.

This was a fun project and the satisfaction from doing it myself is immeasurable!

Got a garage full of 35" BFG muds that are the next item to be installed.

What are you gonna do with the 33's when you put on the 35's ? I'm calling dibs if your gonna sell them !
Damn , now I gotta get a 360 ! I can't keep up !
