3.6 ticking and P0306???

Think it's a faulty head? It's had a minor ticking sound since 5000 miles. It's got 14500 now. Built in march of 2012. And threw this code today:

I would make sure the plug, coil pack/boot, and injector are good before you go after the head.

For example, if the coil boot has a tear or hole in it you could hear a slight ticking sound. That could be the noise the spark makes when it jumps to ground before firing the plug. If enough of that energy passes to ground instead of firing the plug you get a misfire. Seen if happen before.

Just got the jeep back from the dealership. 2 days, replaced left cylinder head finally no more ticky. Job would've been 1200 bucks without the warranty lol they even gave me a brand new Chrysler 200 to drive for free. I'm satisfied.
