3.55 & 3.50 same Rig ?? ok??

Ive run 4.10 & 4.11 with 0 issues, and a friend asked me what I thought, concerning the use of 3.50 F & 3.55 R on his rig.

Is that just to much difference?

Does tire size affect this determination?

Thanks.

A 1-2% difference is considered ok, that difference is between 1 & 2 percent so yes you will be ok. There are a lot of times where differences in tires, tread depth or circumference is going to be a bigger difference than that.

FYI a difference like you mentioned is usually considered the better way to have a slight variation. The 3.50 front will spin ever so slightly faster than the 3.55 rear causing the front end to pull the rear, instead of the other way around where the rear would push the front which could cause a stability problem in the slick stuff.

Thats an interesting fact. I became disillusioned with this Jeep shortly after this, and bought the Early Bronco thats pulling my broke "arse" out again with my new V8, (1994) & then had a couple more before selling out and getting back to what I know. And I never ran into any 3.50's. I knew they were out there.
