258 for postal jeep

I am new here. This site looks great.

I have a 75 dj5 that has a blown motor. I just recently found a 74 dj with a 258 without a title for parts. Will a 258 mount to the 727 TorqueFlite automatic that was originally mounted to a 232 amc motor? If not what will I need?

Thanks for any advice.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the 258 shares the block with the 232. It's the stroke that is different.

Same block. Should be a direct swap.
