2006 Rubi
I just bought a 2006 Rubicon , There seems to be a lot of slop in the drive line , and it appears to be in the transfer case . This jeep only has 13,500 miles and was towed behind a motorhome . Is this common drivetrain issue with these Jeeps , or is it a problem I need to address

You need to be a bit more specific than "slop". Rotational? Lateral? Front? Rear? Yokes with driveshaft removed? In the joints?

It seems like it has play up and down when starting off ad shifting gears , if that helps

No it doesnt. From the seat in the cab you have very little idea what is actually going on. You need to get underneath. Pull, pry, twist driveshaft. Remove driveshaft and rotate yikes. Check ujoints. Check transmission mounts. Check control arm bushings.

the u-joints are good and the rear diff is tight , I think the transmission mount is the problem and is in need of replcement
