2000 xj 4.0 runs like crap!

I bought a 2000 Jeep XJ 4.0 for $400
The PO said it sat, then wouldnt start, then they changed the Cam Sensor and now it starts and runs, but runs like crap!

-It has a consistent miss, from idle through all rpms, like its not running on all 6 cyl, whether cold or warm never different
-Has new Spark plugs, gapped correctly, the #5 plug was wet with fuel when I changed it
-I re-adjusted the cam sensor, even tried flipping it 180 and no change!
-I installed new crank sensor
-I can pull the #5 injector plug while idling and theres no change in idle.
-I swapped the #5 injector with #1 and no change when #5 is unplugged.
-I have not yet read codes, fuel pressure appears to be great, saw no cracks etc on coil rail while it was off, I have not tested compression yet, airbox is clean.

ANY IDEAS???

Thanks, Cory

It may be a bad distributor cap. Broke on #5.

Any updates on this? I'm having similar issues with my 02 model. Wet plug, missing, etc.

With a wet plug and constant miss on #5, I'd suspect the coil pack is bad. Put a test light on it and see if there is power to fire the plug at #5.
