2000 TJ Sahara AX15 to CJ7 swap

Does anyone know if an AX15 from a 2000 Sahara will swap over to a CJ7 with a 258.....I know it will take some "massaging" and part sourcing, and I know that ppl have had good success with the 94 and up yj and xj AX15s, but I've yet to find any info on the TJ AX15s and whether or not they are the same compatibility or not.

I've got 2 that I'm looking at buying this weekend. 1 is from a 96 xj but it is missing a clutch fork and shifter ($400)....the other is from a 2000 TJ sahara and EVERYTHING is there minus the clutch pedal ($475). Thanks for your help.

Oh, my cj7 currently has 258 I6, T176, dana 300, dana 30/44 (4.56 ratio), and 35" tires.....I need another gear.
