2.5, 4.0 swap?

I have a 95 wrangler rio grande. It has the 2.5ltr. Will a 4.0 jeep engine work with the stock transmission/transfer case, or will i have to buy a separate one to work with the 4.0?

It's a lot more work than just dropping it in. You'll need a new tranny and the t-case will need to be modified for starters. Do a search on the subject and there's lot's of info. This site has a brief run-down on what's involved. Good luck!
