1999 WJ ECL/white smokes
I own jeep for the first time. 1999 WJ limited with v8 4.7L engine. After a fun trip to beach (drove on the beach). The ECL came up on after 5 hours drive back to home. Rough idling and white smoke comes out of the exhaust. I tested the engine and got the code of P0303-misfire spark plug/ignition coil. I replaced all 8 spark plugs and ignition coil. The issues is still there. Is there any solution to have the engine back running smoothly. Advices would be helpful as I am highly motivated to fix my WJ as it is my first experience with jeep. Thanks!
In addition to ignition system issues, misfire codes can also be caused by faulty injectors -- you can try swapping the #3 injector with one from another cylinder to see if the problem follows the injector.

White smoke is normally water intrusion into a cylinder. Have a compression leakdown test performed and see if there are bubbles in the radiator while pressure is on cyl #3. You can also have a test done on the radiator fluid to see if there are traces of combustion gas mixed in. Unfortunately white smoke normally points to head/head gasket issues.
