1987 AMC 258 swap 1984 AMC 258 help

Switching out a 1987 amc 258 4.2L automatic for a 1984 amc 258 4.2L manual... Looks like some minor differences between the two. The 87 has serpentine belt and 84 has pulley. I want to keep the AC but I'm wondering if I'll run into an issue. I believe when serpentine belt is used it runs a reverse water pump. I know i need to switch the fly wheels. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

There are two different water pumps so keep them seperate. Smooth pulley on pump spins backward. Im not sure about the compressor differences but sometimes they used the same compressor and changed the pulley. The serpentine belt setup can be a benefit if you wanted to try to use it, pros/cons to both setups. Also need a pilot bearing for the end of the crank
