0331 Head Gasket

I recently discovered I have the 0331 head on my Jeep TJ when I was doing some research on this forum. It's not cracked, so I don't see any need in replacing it, however I was going to change the head gasket because its slowly sweating out oil. just thought I could re-gasket the engine and replace any lifters/springs that may be wearing out. But now I'm not so sure... Will removing and reinstalling the head bring the likelyhood of cracking it? How fragile are these heads?? My engine has 230,772Km on it, or 143,395 miles. I appreciate any input.
