Just a friendly reminder for our "Official Club Members"

I would like to start out by thanking everyone that‘s a member of "Jeeps Gone Wild"! The last 3 years have been awesome and we are looking forward for many great years to come. If anyone has any new ideas for our club please feel free to share them with us.

Just a friendly reminder for our “Official Club Members“, Our club dues are coming up and they need to be turned in by March 31, 2009. Each club member dues are $25 for each year.

If you are planning to join us for the scheduled March run you can turn them in that day. If you are not able to attend the March run you can mail them in.

A small portion of the dues are going to be used to purchase some of the prizes for the April Easter run. To be eligible for the prizes you must be a paid club member (paid by 4-4-09). If you are a new member and the April run will be your second run please bring your paperwork and dues to the April run so you will be eligible for the drawing. Any donations for our prizes are greatly appreciated. These prizes are one of the benefits on becoming a member of "Jeeps Gone Wild".

*Our club dues will also be used for what is mentioned on our “Club Forms”

You should give it a whirl Mike. Everyone can just throw an extra dollar in to cover the paypal fees (if there are any depending on the account types). It would work out nice.

Pay pal would be so much better. Put up a paypal button on the website, so you can just go there and click the button and pay your dues in full.

I had an account for Paypal years ago and never used it. Today, I brought back the account and set it for a business account. I do not know how to set it up but, I am trying my best to get it going.

I am not going to set the Paypal on our web site because, I do not want others to join with out going though our process on becoming a member. If it's on the web site anyone can just pay for the members fee and become a paid member with out joining our "Official Runs or Meetings". Adding it on our web site will make it very complicated. I also need to have our Club Forms signed and they would have to mail or hand me thier forms along with thier fees or dues. This is a simple and quick transaction if it's done that way.

If I am going to use Paypal I am going to set it up so, I can send a link though email and this will be the last option if a new member cannot pay our fees by check and would like to pay by a credit card or debit card. Again to me, It seems a lot easier if a new member can pay by cash or check when we'll meet on our runs or meetings. This is a quick and easy way without going though all the complications though Paypal.
For every person who will use Paypal, for each transaction there will be a % that will be taken off the funds we are trying to build for our club. Then, I would have to transfer funds from the Paypal account over to our Jeeps Gone Wild bank account. This will add confusion and will loose some of our club funds using PayPal.

I will try to get this account going but honestly, to me this seems complicated. If this does not seem convenient, I will not go this route and stick with the way I have it set up on our club forms.

It's the middle of February and March will come very soon.
Just a friendly reminder that your club dues should be turned in by
March 31st, 2009. Each members dues are $25.00 for each year and this due will cover for the whole 2009.
