"Jeeps Gone Wild"

“Jeeps Gone Wild™” Offroad Club is an informal group and is not a legal object that exists. The purpose of the club is to provide the means to help share common interest with newcomers who might not had the opportunity of being exposed to this wonderful hobby. Providing these means can help extend friendship and the benefit of meeting people with more experience. The club will help educate, train and provide so, each individual can learn about their jeeps and to offroad safely. The club also welcomes experienced offroaders.

Michael Q. is the Founder and President “Jeeps Gone Wild™” Offroading Club.
“Jeeps Gone Wild™” is based on a non political group. This is the way the club is originally designed and this is the way it will continue for the time being. This will ensure to have more time to enjoy offroading so, there will be less hassle and confusion for everyone and this is the one of the main attractions which most people like about this club. At times, the club will have some issues that may or will arise from time to time and will be addressed appropriately. When this occurs there will be a minimal amount of voting because the club is about having trust in each other and this is why the club stands out from the others. The voters will just be a small respectful group of members that were not voted in but chosen by the club president and has been in the club for over a year or a member that has a true understanding how the club runs. The president of the club has appointed some positions to help organize the events, runs and the club, these positions include: secretary, book keeper, club representatives, safety coordinators, first aid team, trail leaders, trail mechanics, trail recovery team and trail spotters. These positions are performed on voluntary basis and each position is coordinated by the club president. The club president will be observing each member though out time and notice if certain members can or will be qualified for these positions. When our members voluntarily participate in their positions it’s a matter of respect and trust with each other and the club president. When the president appoints these positions to the members, they are honored on taking their responsibilities for the club and will try their best to perform their positions. If for some reason, someone with a position cannot perform their duties, the club president will assign that position to another qualifying member. At times, the president will rotate assigned positions to other members as respect so they can be part of the team. The president will also assign other positions though out events, runs and the club on a voluntary basis for those who wish to participate. Doing this brings everyone together and it’s about having trust and faith which makes our club special.

“Jeeps Gone Wild™” schedules events and runs though out the offroading season from March through December. Some of these runs will include: “JeepAlong™ Open Runs” and “Members Only Runs”. The “JeepAlong™ Open Runs” are open for everyone. If someone becomes interested in joining the club, they are welcome to join the clubs open runs. After a few open club runs, the president of the club and a few members will decide if the club may or will accept and invite them to the club. Once they have been accepted, they are eligible to apply to become a club member. “Members Only Runs” will be runs that are specially organized for the club members. They are allowed to bring any passengers they wish. This will be the time to relax and enjoy with our fellow club members. During our “JeepAlong™ Open Runs” and “Members Only Runs” the club will have a brief group and safety meeting. We ask all members to respectfully wait for our group meeting to be over before everyone enjoys the trails. Most of the runs will be held at the Badlands in Attica, Indiana due to the centralized location, excellent facilities and support that are available for the club. Club members are welcome to plan other “non official” runs at other locations as they please. During any of our runs and events everyone, including club members and non members, will be responsible for their actions. We ask everyone to conduct themselves in a manner upholding to the club standards.

“Jeeps Gone Wild™” club fees and dues will vary. To become a club member, the club fees and dues will vary from $30 to $25. This will depend on the time an individual applies to become a member or to renews their membership. This detailed information will be on the club forms. The individual, who joins the club with their initial club fee, will be given a club logo for their vehicle. If at any point in time, a member creates some form of disruption that may or will affect the health of the club and the members, the club president and select members that were chosen by the club president, will make a decision to politely revoke their membership from the club.

“Jeeps Gone Wild™” club members will be provided with a semiannual accounting statement. An updated statement maybe requested at any time. The monies that are spent will go towards the club and will have a list of items that may or will be needed to be spent though out the year. No club monies will used for personal gain.

“Jeeps Gone Wild™” offers the Club Forms for those who are interested in becoming a member. The Club Forms will give you the information and requirements to become a member.

Since “Jeeps Gone Wild™” is evolving, this club is always open for new changes and suggestions. The club is still in its early stages and things take time for changes to occur. They will be done in a timely matter.

“Jeeps Gone Wild™” welcomes everyone to our events and runs with no pressure involved and if this club was not a good match for you, the club respect your decisions with no hard feelings.

“Jeeps Gone Wild™” thanks you for giving the club a try and the club wishes you Good Luck and Safe Ventures in your offroading hobby.

Thank You “Jeeps Gone Wild™” Offroading Club and
Club President,
Michael Q.

Going offroading is about having fun with a group of friends
even if you are not in a club, in our club, or a different club.
As long as everyone thinks safety at all times, helping each other out in the time of need and enjoying your time with your friends.
It's All Good.

If you are wanting to join our runs here are some "suggestions" on what to have:

*Insurance
*Seat belts for all occupants
*CB or a 2 way radio
*Orange flag that can be bought at Walmart by the bike area or at the Badlands and The Cliffs
*Front and rear tow points
*A full sized spare tire

These are just some requirements that will be mandatory when you decide on becoming an "Official Club Member" The full requirements will be on our "Club Forms" along with other information and these "Club Forms" can be requested.

When everyone gets into the park and start to prepare your jeep for the trails.
Here are a few things you can do before we head out.

*Air down your tires, check the correct pressure and put the caps back on
Stock to 32": 15psi to 13psi
33" and Up: 12psi to 9psi

*Disconnect your sway bar links and secure them down. ( Please make sure you loosen the bolts and spray them with PB Blaster before hand so they can be easily taken out to remove the sway bar links ) This will speed things up when getting ready.

*Check all fluids and check belts

*Check your winch and test it

*Check your tow points and make sure they are secure

*Do a radio check with your CB and 2way radio

*Check your brakes

*Secure your orange flag

*Have your recovery items close by and ready for use

*Pull in your drivers and passengers side mirrors inward so they will not be damage from tree limbs, mud and rock walls and others

*Have some drinks and snacks ready

*Go to the bathroom

And...Have your batteries charged and have plenty of new batteries for your video recorder's and camera's so, you can take tons of pictures for some great exciting memories.

Doing all this, will help speed things up so, we can head out on the trails as soon as possible.

*The most important thing to do is to make sure Everyone is Buckled Up with their Seat Belts*

"KOPC™" "Keep Our Pathway Clean™"

“Keep Our Pathway Clean™”
“KOPC™”

Founded by: Michael Q. Club President

“KOPC™” is a program based on a principle of helping to keep our trails, offroading parks, planned events and others clean. Clean from all kinds of garbage like: food/drink containers, left over foods, chemicals/fluid spills, human waste, destroyed damaged parts and more.

“KOPC™” goal is to be respectful and responsible to keep the environment clean.

An individual, group or club can voluntarily make a personal vow to try our best to keep those places that is mentioned above free from garbage like: food/drink containers, left over foods, chemicals/fluid spills, human waste, destroyed damage parts and more

Keeping this vow will be on a personal, group or club level and will be your responsibility on “Keeping Our Pathway Clean™.” You, your group or your club can think of some ideas so everyone can be involved. Everyone can also help educate each other as well as cleaning up after others who were not so responsible on “Keeping Our Pathway Clean™” You and your group can design some fun projects, events and activities so everyone can participate to do your part and help to “KOPC™.”

Lets help, support and spread the word about this program but also lead by example.

Here's an example how this program works:

Pick up a "pop can" on the trails, at a park, during an event and other places then throw it in the garbage and you just "did" your part to "Keep Our Pathway Clean™". Pick up "other garbage" and you "did" a greater part in "KOPC™". It's Simple, Easy and a Great Feeling Inside.

Thank You,
Michael

*2010 Club News*

"Jeeps Gone Wild™" will not be accepting new club members for 2010.
Our club will be concentrating on a smaller group at this time. This will help us to focus
on a more private and personal bond with our members during our events though out the year.

Our club always appreciates and welcomes everyone that are non members who are still interested in our club. Everyone is still welcome to join any of our Open Runs during the year so they to can enjoy our club, friendly members and our exciting events that we have to offer. These events are located at the top of this forum under "Jeeps Gone Wild™" Upcoming Trail Runs and Events and are also located on our web site at www.jeepsgonewild.org.

We thank you for respectfully understanding our changes in our club format for 2010 and wish everyone a safe and fun off roading season.

Thank You,
Michael
