Had the zj at 110 goin downhill the other day and it shifted up (didnt even know it had another gear to go) made it to 115 before the governor kicked in, proly could do 125-135 but not sure if i wanna see that in a jeep.

Your 4.0 ZJ is not doing 125mph, let alone 135mph

Your right a 4.0 zj wouldnt see 125......too bad i have a 5.2 haha!!! What made you think it was a 4.0 anyways? But yea i think the 5.2 or 5.9 could do 125-130.

Misread your title assuming it was a grand cherokee. It stated 4.0 for your XJ so I don't know how I mixed em

Anyways, with the 5.2, 120+ is definitely more plausible.

Have not taken it over 70.. IMO it is just not safe. I do not think they were designed for that purpose.
