WooHoo! keep it up guys. I really dont knwo how fast i've been in my jeep, probably around 75, but thats plenty fast for me. I would like to live to see my 20's lol.

Friend of mine has a Gsxr1000 and has hit 155 easy....he told me the whole time he was thinking "dont die Dont die!"

Fastest i have ever been able to get my Tj was 99mph, that was down hill with the pedal on the floor, and back when i had 31s.
Now i have 35s so i dont go over 85, but i usually cruise the highway at about 70-80 mph. I can hold the wheel with one finger and it tracks straight and smooth. Feels almost as good as my dad's caddy.

My speedo is bouncing up and down at 75. Soft top off I'm pushing 70 at 3500rpm in 5th gear. I'm missing a hoodlatch and the hood is bouncing all over the place. I'm scared it's going to fly up onto the windshield.

Fastest I have gone was 80.. And that was to get the cop off my butt.. haha.. I cruise the freeway around 65 70.. I also smile when people pass me and jack the breaks when someone rides my butt and there is an open lane..

I drive so far to and from work on a daily basis 53 miles each way and travel on a expressway and a beltway, so I don't take the Jeep all the time, but when I have or do I normally top out at 70, and more like everyone else has basically stated it gets real loud and sort of say scary. but that's why we have our Jeeps right?

Drove mine till the speed limited kicked in around 95mph. That's with 33's and a corrected speedometer. 4.56 gears are nice!

Have passed 90 in CJ-5s CJ-7s and YJs with 258s and 4.0 engines with 4.56 gears and 33s.
Have cruised at 80 to 85 mph in all of the above vehicles for hundreds of miles going from Colorado to Iowa, and back.
My highest speed Jeep engine was a junk yard injected '87 258, it would cruise at 90 at part throttle (wore that one out unfortunately, my 4.0 HO hasn't even come close to its performance).
Stupidest high speed run: 90+ with 33 x 14 wide boggers.

Highest speed ever (not in a Jeep); Unknown, the speedometer was solidly pegged so it was probably around 150+

Enjoy!
