what the heck is a zip tie shifter mod?
is it anything like the dead possum in the air intake mod?

you take a zip strip and put the throttle cable out and zip tie the strip on the cable...when you let go of the throttle cable it will be out a little bit longer than stock causing it to shift at diff rpms

Yeah I can.. Its a Injen or an AEM or something along those lines of a filter, with some tubing from Pepboys. I'll take a picture and post it, Give me a minute..,,.

-Custom free flowing exhaust (thanks to cracked header)
-Removed Cat. Converter (because i loves teh enviroment)
-1/8th tank of gas (just think of the weight savings)
-Adjustable MAP (because backfires are kewl)
-Mad tyte shifting skills (AW4 Tranny)
-Zip Tie Shift Kit ( For Neckbraking Power Shifts)
oh, and my engine also changes its own oil...

all in all, im very please with the time and money ive invested

Cherry bomb pipe in place of the stock muffler
Rear mains seal leak
Cracked header

Im looking for a 99 intake and some diff injectors but i have yet to find a newer jeep in a JY

Oh and i demand more info on this zip tie mod!!!


Oh and skenzer, if i havent aready asked you, Where are you from in MI???

I had a fourwheeler that did that. It was fun to ride bt it burt oil like a *****. When it stoped smoking i would pull over and pour some more oil in because that i how we knew when it was out I went thought about a quart every 4 hours.

On my 88' Manche

- Weight Reduction - I lost weight

- 235/70/15's
- vs 235/75/15's or 225/75/15's (not sure what it came with from the factory, but as you can tell, listing the tires is called grabbing at straws)

Anyways, here's what I'd like to know as far as this thread goes...

Who has seen dyno number increases from the mods? Individual HP/TQ bumps for each mod would be nice, but any dyno comparisons would be great!
