Transmission slipping

My transmission kinda hesitates to shift sometimes but other than that it works great. I'm wondering it maybe it just needs to be adjusted because sometimes I have to wiggle the "automatic" shift lever to get my keys out of my ignition. Could the slipping or hesitant shifting be so to a simple adjustment problem?

I have a similar issue, transmission slips into second gear (slow to move, sudden jerk & then fine). First mistake I made was taking it to Dobbs :^\ I was told I needed a whole new transmission ($3,600). Took it to a different shop and was told it just needed a new sensor.
Since it's my only car I couldn't leave it overnight but the next day it was not having that issue anymore. The shop said not to mess with it then and if it starts happening again bring it in and we'll replace that sensor...

That was a little over a month ago and it just started again so I guess I'll be bring it in.
