quick question.... what about people who live in denver? i mean i'm sure my jeep would only run like 17's at sea level, maybe 16's if i got a perfect run, so i'm not even gonna bother entering, but bandimere speedway sits at about 6000' elevation, so IF anyone from here enters, how will that be compensated for?
well not that im going to update my entry at this time. i went to the track last nite and ran 11.39@ 116.mph. i tested a new card out and ran 2 runs faster than 11.50s now i have to get a racing jacket to ware.....damn rules!!!
Will work on getting mine to the track. Ive got some oil pressure issues and maybe some broken motor/trans mounts.
Last stock run was 17 soemthing but I ripped the drivesahaft out on the second run. Twas not a good night. Before that it was 16.2 @ 86 with the 4.0. I dont have the timeslip, but I know the stroker will get me into the 15s at least.
4.6 stroker, 2wd, 5spd, larger sway bars front and rear, 3.55s, KJ 16's.
That was depressing.. hardly any responses, I could have been a contender in mine. I've spent over $3000 on my XJ I still haven't payed off ($300 from future father-in-law) just to get it running and keep it that way (It's a Jeep thing, thank god he understands) and with three injectors left that -haven't- decided to leak yet in cold weather over my cracked exhaust manifold it's a firetrap!... I think i could have had a shot.
