It's definetely faster than stock... but I dont have any numbers since I havent been able to dyno but driving my 94 XJ compared to this is like night and day

I bored my own TB by taking it to a machine shop. I was orignally going to pick-up a J&C Bored TB, but it was cheaper doing it myself

The header definetly made an increase in power, but I wont be breaking any land speed records with my XJ. Very near future plans include cam, heads, roller rockers, and a turbo set-up curtousey of Mr. Tealcherokee (who is now my "mechanic")

If you want to talk about performance, his current Street XJ Project consists of an AWD Turbocharged Stroker set-up

yea ive seen the post about his new street jeep. I thinkit would have been cooler if he was using a new body style for the buildup, but thats jsut me. Anyways Im thinking about a 2" BB and some 30x9.5 baja MTX for suspension and tires. then Ive already got a cold air intake, TBS, and dynoflow cat back exaust but i also want the banks header and downpipe, 60mm TB and maybe a jet chip(how much did that help, was it worth it?) im basically trying to balance a semi street jeep, but with a little hight adjustment. I know ill loose a little speed witht he tires but i need some more height. Stock cherokee just sits soo low

any advise wouldbe great, your jeep kicks a$$. mine is blue too

The Jet Chip works, but not for the price of it. If you can find a good deal on it, which I did on Ebay, then go ahead and buy it. But I would never pay the $300+ retail for it.

You wont lose too much power by going with 30" tires. I have a 94 XJ as well and on that I have a 2" BB and 30x9.5x15 BFGs on my 94 XJ and it doesnt seem that I have lost much power at all... You should be fine. I agree the XJ should have came from the factory sitting a tad bit taller. I am happy with my 2" lift that Tealcherokee help me put on!

I forget who has it, but it looks really nice... Is it XJ4oh? I forget... Sorrryyy. But I know it's dark blue?? and white stripes. I mean, I don't like the idea of street jeeps, but it's a loookkerr. =o]

two words jojo....OBD I. Id love to have that black 2 door, im very jelous of it, but...... OBD II is not your friend. one day down the road id like to swap this all into a new body style 2 door (black, red, or steel blue)....one day....

Cant say im a fan of the street jeeps although with all this talk lately its been growin on me...must say if i built a jeep for street it would be all performance....total sleeper.... just so i could light up ricers off the line. i wish i still had a chance against ricers damn big tires i can still hold the odd one now and then
