well. I'm new to this forum, and these picks are old
(I'm back to stock 16s, and I had some performance mods and bodywork done since the last pic),
but what the heck. . .

Since you just registered, and you have less than the required number of posts, if you post a picture, it will just come out at a link. If I quote you, it will show the pics (people around here are too lazy to click links). Also, where did you get the projector lights?

hehe. people are already noticing
it's an XP6054 Bi-Xenon Projector set-up (similar to Bosch)
the projectors are coupled to AL Bosch Ballasts/ 5400k Osram Xenarc Bulbs
compliments a Cadillac SRX
The projectors came from suvlights.com

sweet rides so far. hey how can I smoke my tail lights? what exhaust sounds the best on the inline 6? i dont want it soundin like a mack truck but i dont want it to sound crappy either? im debating between dynomax catback with ultra flow muffler or just getting a magnaflow muffler put on. finally are silverstars worth it at 14 each?

thanks again.
I started out with the fake-projector 6054s and some crumby H4s, but the output was worst than with my stock headlights. I even tried silverstars, but i wasn't pleased with them. For a while I thought of getting the Xenarc X6054 kit, but the reviews weren't good on the 1st gen, and no one knew a damn thing about their 2nd gen kit (I think it was a limited run made by valeo). I was able to strike a deal with the guy from suvlights on this kit, and I got my ballasts/ bulbs off ebay to save some extra cash. I've been running this setup for a year and half now, and I love it. Eventually, I will upgrade my fogs with an H3C HID kit (I can't decide if I'll go with 3000C yellow or color match them with my headlights at 5000k)

You can't do much about the protrusion if you want a real bi-xenon projector. Keep in mind, I still have full use of my high beam.
I believe Hella does make some small projectors, but you still have to fab them into a 6054, and make sure everythings watertight, and properly focused. This kit was the best, and frankly only, choice. It's also DOT/SAE approved and road legal.
I don't have any better pics for the moment.

silverstars are quite worth it, i have them on mine theyre great, look good, provide a nice spread of light. as for exhaust, you can do a dynomax itll sound alot like a v8, if done right, i went with a straight off the cat and a glasspack and it actually soudns pretty rad, nice and resonant. of course thats just my opinion, i guess the only real way to be happy with your sound is to try out different things.
as for smoking taillights... get yourself some spraybomb clear coat, gloss black, and some really fine sandpaper, like 2000 grit if you can find it. the lowest id say to use would be like 600 grit, and youll also need some plain jane solvent... anyways take and mask off whatever you dont want painted around your taillights. then scuff them up with the sandpaper, till theyre kinda dull and filmy looking. then wash down the lights with said solvent, let dry for like five minutes. spray on some clear coat first, get a good layer on not too many coats but enough to give ti a little gloss. once thats dry, very very carefully spray the black on, hold the can about 12 inches fomr the lights and do a quick spray till it looks smoked to how you want it. bear in mind though that too much and you wont be able to see your taillights anymore. so once the black is kind of takced id say roughly 10 minutes or so, take the clear coat and spray a finish on it for a nice gloss again. spraying on the clear before the black is important because it amplifies the light fm your taillights, so evenn though they will look black at night they will be as transparent as they were stock. once the final clear is on let it dry for about two or three hours, de mask and voila, smoked taillights!

I hate to be a noob stirring up trouble, but silverstars are not worth their money (unless you scored a great deal on ebay). My local news channel talked about an independent comparison between Silverstars and Halogens -- the result was barely noticeable; when I had silverstars, I felt the same about their output... than you have to consider silverstars last less than a conventional halogen. If you want more light output with conventional bulbs than upgrade your wiring harness first and foremost.

yes but then ive had first hadn experience with halogen vs. silverstar in the past, with my other vehicle. im not just speaking abou tmy jeep, even though ive had them for like almost a year now and theyre still good, still outshine all four of my daylighters, im also speaking frm four years of having them on my car, as opposed to halogens which dulled after a year. no need to worry about stirring up trouble, youre cool with me, im just speaking from more than just my jeep experience is all. maybe some peoples experience with them is different, ill continue to recommend them though
