I'm not even going to bother proving you wrong on so many levels so just stop while you are ahead.

and theres no way you're spinning hard enough to get sideways in 2nd and 3rd ... i also doubt you're beating V8 stangs on 31's with 4.10's ![]()

A 4L is not going to do that. My friends 4L on 90 shot would spin in 2WD out of the whole but that was it. I can spin the front wheels on launch but the rears stick like glue. I have also raced a few GT mustangs on the street. I can't say I can beat them all but I can shake tem up enough that they definenately give a jeep more respect after.

![]() Anyways, being that most Mustangs on the road are the economy version and not a true representation of Fords muscle, I'd hate to see what your excuse would be when you race a real 4.6 after claiming to annihilate them all. ![]() |

Are they both identical setups? The newer models are indeed heavier option for option, however the power/torque increase and wider power band overcomes that. In general the newer ones are faster.

![]() However, my 21 year old 4.0L Comanche has zero problem doing a nice, healthy burnout and spinning through practically all of first off the line. ![]()

Decent street tires, and no weight in the back = fun
The bad news? No traction = no launch, so while I'm fighting to get it going you are already well on your way to 60 ![]() Plus the fact that my renix makes all it's power down low...I mean comeon, peak torque at 2400rpm? Yea, it's real fun driving in the rain too lol.

i can beat v-6 mustangs in my dodge neon. that should tell you smething. although it could prob beat my jeep too. i had a CAI, opened up exhaust, and i took out about 100lbs of weight. so that helped it alot.
