Other seats fit???

This has probably been asked before, but I'm fairly new to this Forum.

Do seats from things like TJs fit an XJ?

The catalogs are full of TJ and YJ seats, but never mention XJ, probably because they haven't been made in a while. I'm sure there are some listed on the auctions, too.

Thanks;

i think just about any seat can be made to fit. i think that TJ seats are the same as xj (stock for stock) but if i were you i would get some aftermarket racing seats or something and weld up some brackets so they fit.

I would install some WJ seats. Can't beat a nice clean OEM look.

As far as a writeup... It's honestly as simple as taking off the seat brackets from the GC seat; taking the Cherokee brackets off the Cherokee seat, and bolting them to the GC seat and putting them back in the Cherokee. I paid $325 for the pair and it was WELL worth it!.

DAMMIT!!!! MAKE IT STOP!!!!! i HATE YOU GUYS. you just keep puting these ideas in my head. I HAD some money saved up but i think i might have to stop by the JY this week and find some leather seats. I have one seat that is messed up and both of my seats are worn out anf the foam is crushed. That looks like a god upgrade. Im also thinking i might losse the back seat all together. I never use it. I could make a flat floor all the way up to the front seats with some storage under it. (See there it gooes again) i can see the money signs racking up in my head $$$$

Well it is not just my spelling. Im not saying that i can spell ( I CANT) but i have a wireless key board and it eats batterys. So if i were to replace them everytime it tells me then they wouldnt last 2 days. So if i am typing and i lean wrong it misses a letter. I used to go back and fix all that crap but i desided that no one really cared anyways.
