new to the site, help!

ok fellas im new to the site and posted this in a diff. forum. I was told to repost it in here. So what id like to find out is some info about putin a turbo on my jeep. The jeep is a 94 yj 2.5l, rebuilt .040 over and about 14000 miles on it. Yes, i know...why not just a larger engine. Like i told the other guys in the other forum. you going to give me one? lol im currently out of work , but trying to find a way to get a lil more power out of the jeepster and since im getting the turbo FREE with only about 18000 miles or so on it, i could check to see how well it would work out. the turbo is off an dodge 2.5l engine. i figured if we run about 5lbs out of the turbo it should be fine, but let me know what info u guys have. thanks alot fellas.

Biggest hurdle is keeping the correct afr. A good place to start researching, since most people here arent really turbo experts is turbomustangs.com. Its a huge wealth of turbo info, and I believe there is a turbo 2.5 TJ on there somewhere... You could also get in contact with 505 performance, they have turbo systems for Wranglers and may be able to give you some pointers.

People usually dont want to help with out of the box stuff because a.) It's out of the box and not what they would do, or b.) It's a defense mechanism because they dont know how to help and feel like less of a man because they dont know everything. I usually catch the same stuff. My xj is only 2wd and Ive gotten stuck every time I took it off road. There isnt much in S Florida to entice me off road anyway, so why build for it? People get irked when they find out I have a lowered Jeep, cause it's not normal.
