New Jeep Owner

Hi,

I just bought a stock 2001 Cherokee Limited 4 door 2WD with a 4.0L with and A/T that has 92k on it. It is in descent shape and I plan on using it as my daily driver, making it a street Jeep. I would like to drop it about 2" for better handling, and I have been searching this site and on-line for lowering springs/suspension components but I have not had any luck. Does anybody make them or will I have to cut mine and fab up everything else?

TIA,

Andrew

No offense, "BUT WHAT DID THE JEEP DO TO YOU?" Why the heck in the name of Jeeps and all its history would you want to lower one? I would say the reason you can't find a kit, is because its pointless! I can understand if you mean it has a 2in BB or 4in lift and you want to lower it a little....but not taking a stock Jeep and lowering it! Buy a Honda SUV, Civic, pickup truck, etc...what ever you do...don't lower the Jeep!

If you go onto NAXJA, there is a guy who lowered his. His username is "gradon". You can set up an account over there and PM him for his details. I think he had to custom make each part.
