new jeep owner

Hey guys, im new on here. I just bought a 04 Grand Cherokee Freedom Edition, and i have a couple of questions i hope you can answer. First it seems like i have a slightly rough idle, it runs awesome but at a stop i can feel it. Any ideas? What are the best performance mods for these( i have the 4.7 HO) and what are some things if any that i should watch for ie recalls i dont know of; things like that. And what gas mileage should i be getting? My display says 12 in the city and im being easy on it, are the displays accurate? What can i do to help out my mileage? Thanks guys

Congrats on the new toy, allow me to point you in the direction of jeepsunlimited.com. Under the speed freak section there is a thread called "hp gains." It lists several mods you can make for most Jeep engines. Most people here deal with the 4.0, as V8s dont come in the Cherokee. (Stock)
