Jeep soft top problems

I purchases a new soft top for my 1990 yj can i use a spray on water sealent? If so what can i use? Need answer quickly

Any treatment you put on the fabric will wash down on the plastic windows when it rains and will leave a residue on your windows. The chemicals in the sealant may be strong enough to damage the windows leaving them permanently hazy or discolored. The new soft top is already waterproof.
